2. What data we process

Browsing data

During normal browsing, the systems of the server hosting the website collect some technical data whose transmission is inherent in the use of Internet protocols: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, date and time of the request. This data is used only to keep the website running and secure, and is not used to identify visitors.

Data you provide voluntarily

If you contact us by phone, email or through our social media profiles, we process the data you give us (for example name, company name, VAT number, contact details and the content of your request) to reply and, if you ask us to, to start a business relationship.

This website contains no data collection forms and uses no profiling or analytics tools.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Running and securing the website: legitimate interest of the controller (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
• Replying to requests and pre-contractual or contractual activities (quotes, opening a customer account, supplies, support): performance of a contract or of pre-contractual measures (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Legal obligations relating to tax and accounting for business relationships: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).

4. How data is processed and kept

Data is processed electronically and on paper, with appropriate security measures, by authorised staff. Browsing data is kept only as long as strictly necessary for the security of the website. Data from requests is kept as long as needed to handle them; data relating to business relationships for the duration of the relationship and then for the periods required by law (normally 10 years for accounting records).

5. Who we share data with

Data is not made public. It may be processed on behalf of the controller, and only for the purposes stated, by providers of technical or professional services, such as the website hosting provider (Aruba S.p.A.), tax advisers and shipping couriers, appointed as data processors where required. It may be disclosed to the authorities when required by law.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

The website is hosted in Italy. Only if you agree to load the map on the Contacts page (from the banner or the “Show map” button) is some technical data (such as your IP address) sent to Google, which may also process it in the United States under the safeguards provided by the GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses). 7. Your rights

At any time you can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest (arts. 15-22 GDPR). To exercise your rights, write to info@mattielloparts.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

8. Linked websites

The website contains links to the B2B e-commerce, the Mattiello Roma website and our Facebook and LinkedIn profiles. These services have their own notices and terms, which we invite you to read.
